Crown Firm List
Cases that have been given a fixed ("firm") date for a hearing or trial, published ahead of time.
Who it is for: People who need to plan ahead, such as witnesses and family members.
What the columns mean
- Court / courtroom
- The building and the room where the hearing will take place.
- Time
- The time the court expects to sit. Hearings often start later than this.
- Case reference
- A number used to identify the case. Quote it when contacting the court.
- Hearing type
- What kind of hearing it is, for example a plea hearing, sentence or trial. Use the list decoder tool for jargon.
- Judge / bench
- Who is expected to hear the case.
