Embed court data on your website
Short answer: Paste one <div> and one <script> into your page. The script draws a chart, table or tile of listed court hearings and keeps it up to date. It is free, and the widget includes a credit link back to us.
Journalists, bloggers, solicitors' sites and community groups often want to show how busy a court is. These widgets do that with real, current numbers from the official HMCTS daily lists, without you having to collect or update anything.

How it works
- Pick a widget and a court above, then copy the code.
- Paste it where you want the chart to appear. The script tag can go anywhere, and one tag serves every widget on the page.
- Done. The script reads the settings on the
div, fetches the latest counts and draws the widget. Until it loads, the plain credit link inside the div is what visitors and search engines see.

What the numbers are
They are listed hearings from the daily Crown Court and magistrates' court lists published by HMCTS. Youth and restricted entries are excluded, weekends and days without a published list are blank, and history starts from the day we began recording. They are not official statistics and not a record of outcomes. See how we get our lists.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free to embed?
Yes. Embedding is free as long as the credit link to UK Court Listings stays visible. The widget adds the link for you, so please do not hide or remove it.
Do the charts update by themselves?
Yes. The script fetches the latest daily counts from our servers whenever a page loads, so your chart stays current without any work from you.
What do the numbers mean?
They are listed hearings on the daily Crown Court and magistrates' court lists published by HMCTS. A listed hearing is not a record of an outcome, and youth and restricted entries are excluded. Days without a published list are blank.
Does the widget show any names?
No. The widgets only use counts, such as hearings per day or courtrooms in use. They never contain defendant names or case references.
Will it slow my page down?
The script is a few kilobytes, loads asynchronously and draws plain SVG and HTML. It does not use any tracking, cookies or third-party libraries.
Can I get the raw data instead?
Yes. Each court has a JSON and a CSV feed, listed below, under the same credit-link terms.
